Why NCIS Won’t Cast Margo Harshman Anymore

NCIS fans were eagerly anticipating the return of Delilah McGee, portrayed by Margo Harshman, during the 2021 winter premiere. Delilah, Timothy McGee’s wife, had been absent from the show for some time after a tragic event in season 11 where she was injured in a terrorist attack, leaving her paralyzed and in a wheelchair. Despite her character’s significant impact on the show, recent developments suggest that NCIS won’t be casting Margo Harshman anymore.

Although Delilah’s return was anticipated for the first two episodes of Season 18, it seems that Margo Harshman’s presence on the show might not continue. The character, an employee of the Department of Defense and wife of NCIS Special Agent Timothy McGee, faced challenges adjusting to her new life post-injury. While Harshman’s portrayal of Delilah has been memorable, the show appears to be moving in a different direction, signaling the end of her involvement with NCIS.
