Milana Vaintrub, known as the AT&T girl, faced hardships early in life due to religious persecution in the USSR. She started acting at a young age, featuring in commercials and TV shows like ER and Days of Our Lives. Despite doubts about her future in the industry, she pursued acting, eventually becoming a part of the Upright Citizens Brigade and College Humor.
Her role as Lily in AT&T commercials brought her fame, but also unwelcome attention and harassment about her body. In response, she chose to conceal her body in future ads. Beyond commercials, she appeared in This Is Us, Marvel projects, and Robot Chicken. Vaintrub also co-founded Can’t Do Nothing, a refugee advocacy organization.
Vaintrub faced health challenges in 2020, but welcomed a baby boy in 2021. Despite personal struggles, she continues to excel in her career as an actress, director, and advocate.
