Donnie Wahlberg has shared his thoughts regarding the cancellation of “Blue Bloods” after its 14th season. He expressed disappointment, hoping the show would reach the longevity of “Law and Order: SVU.” Despite facing budget cuts and industry strikes, Wahlberg and the rest of the cast took pay cuts to ensure the final season’s completion.

He remained hopeful for the show’s future but focused on enjoying each episode as it aired. Tom Selleck, playing Frank Reagan, also felt there were more stories to tell, sharing a reluctance to bid farewell to the series
